Despite the recent delay of SEB 221, it looks like Avex still have faith in the series, as this March will see the release of Super Hatsune Beat vol. 1. Popular Vocaloid producers like Yuuyu P, Bucchigiri P and others will be participating. However, it’s unclear if the usual Super Eurobeat labels will be involved.
The album will come with a DVD featuring PVs from Sega’s Project DIVA Arcade.

Sequel to House Nation Platinum, which was released all the way back in 2009. Odd strategy, releasing a sequel so many years after the first came out. Like the First HN Platinum, this release focuses on chart-topping hits, though at this point some of the tracks are a bit dated.

Tracks are produced by TeddyLoid, Hello Stupid People, and Hikari Koshi. Samples sound pretty good, and it’s nice to see that they avoided the usual themes.

I spotted this on iTunes Japan and thought it was a new release, but it turns out it’s just the digital version of Vocalo*Trance Best. Only 7 of the tracks from the CD can be found on the digital release. 6 of those 7 also get exclusive extended remixes. Still, 2400 yen and it’s not even iTunes Plus? Come on, Avex, get with the program already!

A seemingly final list has emerged, and while it doesn’t have Shohei Matsumoto or Delaction, it does have Overhead Champion, kors k, and DJ Kaya. Sumijun gets the most tracks, however, with a total of 4. And while I assumed they would use Vocaloid vocals, some of the songs will be sung by Utatte Mita artists.
