Release Date: 6/10/09

Are you ready for a Summer Story? The early track list is out for this year’s edition of Natsu Monogatari, and it’s chock full of anime and J-euro, much like last year’s release. On the plus side, there’s also brand new eurobeat from Italian labels, as well as Dancemania classics.

For those interested in who’ll be dancing on the DVD, D-tan from ParaParaStage has a post with that info.

Please remember to link back to this post. I like web traffic. ^_^

Akiba Koubou once again take up a lot of the list, with quite a few anime covers present. There’s also plenty of original J-euro including songs by tears, Rumi, and Sunplaza Nakano Kun. It looks like we’ll finally be getting that trance remix of “Bye Bye Para Girl” that’s been rumored since last year.

I’m not so sure about the announced Dancemania classics so far. The Motiv 8 remix of “Wannabe” is awesome, so I am looking for ward to that, and presumably they’ll use the Delaction remix of “Butterfly,” which is even better. What’s up with “Dub-I-Dub,” though? The Delaction remix would fit great next to “Butterfly,” but there’s no remix name listed and I fear they’ll use the original version.

As for new Italian-produced eurobeat, LED appear to be MIA, but Akyr have taken their place, bringing along old Hi-Site aliases. Saifam are also back after missing last year’s release.

Previous albums had licenses from Avex, FARM, and Quake, but that doesn’t seem to be the case just yet. The last two releases had 31 tracks each, so there are at least 5 tracks yet to be revealed. It’s also possible that some of the tracks listed here won’t make it on the final list. Personally, I hope they beef up the trance section a bit more, though I am glad that there’s been no psychedelic announced so far.

    DUB-I-DUB again. :/
But it’s pretty cool that WANNABE (Motiv 8 Vocal Slam Mix) got included.

    Looking forward for the release.

  2. Javy Says:

Wow waaaaay too much J-Euro… this looks worse than last years travesty

  3. Alex Says:

Considering I do enjo the j-euro I’m interested in this CD. This run here:

    17. Kouga Ninpou Chou / Miyabi
    18. Seishoujo Ryouiki / Miyabi
    19. Gong! / Akibako
    20. God Knows… / Mi->Na

Are some of the best tracks of the SAR series ? Although they could have put something other than God Knows again…

  4. Javy Says:

And the “hi-site” tracks could just be Akyr tracks since Alessandro Gilardi is working with Newfield again. Rocket Man was also an Hi-Site alias.

  5. Jarred Says:

I’m pretty pumped about the new Akyr/Hi-Site tracks. They were my favorite label back on Europanic!
