Update (9/15/11): It’s only been a few days since this was announced and it’s already been delayed to the end of November. The price for the CD+DVD set has also been reduced from 3790 yen to 3619 yen.

Update: !!! Amazon Japan confirms that there will be 5 bonus tracks, including a brand new recording of “Love Is the Power” as well as new remixes of Konami Originals. The DVD will contain exclusive interviews with Naoki, dj Taka, TAG, DJ Boss, and Remo-con.

In a surprising move, EMI are re-releasing the DDR 2nd MIX OST as both the original two-disc set as well as a new 2 CD+DVD set! No details yet on what the DVD will include, but it’d be neat to have a retrospective on DDR. I suppose another possibility could be music videos for the Dancemania tracks. The sad thing is when all is said and done I’ll own 4 copies of the 2nd MIX OST. One bootleg (curse you, eBay!), one original release, and two re-releases. >_<

Please note that the cover and track list presented here are from the original release. It’s unknown if they’ll change the cover art or add any new tracks to the OST. Both CDs have a bit of extra space left, so I’m definitely hoping for a bonus track or two. Edit: One retailer is, in fact, reporting that there will be bonus tracks. o_O
