Scatman (Pipappaparappoppippo) (Single)
Artist: Mark ‘Oh feat. Scatman John
Release Date: 4/21/10
Price: 571 yen
It’s been a while since Quake have released a single. I get the sense that they’re positioning this remake of “Scatman” to be the next “Caramelldansen.” We’ll see if they succeed. No mention of how many tracks will be on the single, but I suspect we’ll get some exclusive Japan remixes.

Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best 9
Release Date: 4/7/10
Price: 1905 yen
Quake put up a page for SATB 9 with half of the tracks listed. Starving Trancer, MK, Hommarju, and DJ Kyon-C are among the announced artists so far. Disco da gama, who made his debut on R25 SATB 5, looks like he’ll be a regular Exit Trance producer.
Exit Trance presents R25 Speed Anime Trance Best 5
Release Date: 2/17/10
Price: 1905 yen
Quake have dropped the Ghibli theme for this fifth release in the R25 series, opting instead to return to the series’ roots. Like the first two albums, R25 SATB 5 will focus on classic anime themes.
Exit Trance presents Denpa Trance
Release Date: 2/17/10
Price: 1905 yen
Quite a few repeats on this one. It doesn’t help that it only has 18 tracks instead of the usual 20. B.U.S. makes an appearance, which would be exciting except for the fact that it’s a repeat.
Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best 9
Release Date: 4/7/10
Price: 1905 yen
The 9th release in the SATB series.

Exit Trance presents UmaUma Dekiru Trance wo Tsukutte Mita 7
Release Date: 2/3/10
Price: 1905 yen (Regular Edition) or 3143 yen (Limited Edition)
I think I see at least 4 direct repeats from other Exit Trance series. It also appears that B.U.S. and Acid=Stone Valley will once again be M.I.A..

Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Complete Best 2
Release Date: 1/20/10
Price: 2667 yen (Regular Edition) or 2857 yen (Limited Edition)
Just a quick reminder that this comes out next week. It doesn’t look like the track list has changed.
Edit: Quake have a preview video up now: http://anitra.jp/title/comp2.php
Oddly, the preview video has “Kimi Shinitamou Koto Nakare” from SATB 7 as track 14 (shifting everything after by one track) and “Zutto Mitsumeteite (Ryu* Remix)” gone completely. However, the web page still has the old track list up. I’ll update this post when there’s confirmation that the track list has changed.
Exit Trance presents R25 Speed Anime Trance Best 5
Release Date: 2/17/10
Price: 1905 yen
The R25 series is back after a long hiatus, apparently sans the Ghibli theme. I guess they finally ran out of Ghibli songs to do. The jacket illustration will once again be done by Keiko Sootome.
Exit Trance presents Denpa Trance
Release Date: 2/17/10
Price: 1905 yen
I have absolutely no idea what denpa is, but it’s the theme of Quake’s latest Exit Trance series. Moe Mania suggests that “Denpa-kei is a certain genre of music, used in anime, hentai and games. It’s often very cute, explicit and sometimes a bit off-putting, depending on who you ask. All in all, it’s very very moe!” So, uhh, yeah. I don’t see how that’s any different than their Ecstasy series. ^^; If I’m understanding it correctly, then the songs will be similar to “Motteke! Sailor Fuku.”
Pre-order at CDJapan.
Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best The Movie 2
Release Date: 1/6/09
Price: 1905 yen
The follow-up release to SATB The Movie starts the new year off with more popular anime movie themes. The tracks are almost all new except for track 17, “One more time, One more chance,” which previously appeared on UmaUma Trance 4. However, this version will have new vocals from Takanori instead of Nine.
Again, B.U.S. is noticeably absent, no doubt busy working on his album.

Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Complete Best 2
Release Date: 1/20/10
Price: 2667 yen (Regular Edition) or 2857 yen (Limited Edition)
SATB Complete Best 2 was originally scheduled for release on December 16, but was delayed at the last minute to January 20 of next year. I’m not sure what the reason is for the delay, but I doubt the track list will change between now and January.
Speed Anime Trance Complete Best 2 serves up repeats from various SATB releases of the last year. SATB 7 gets the most love with 8 tracks, though SATB 8 is close behind with 7. SATB 6 only gets 4, however, which happens to be the same number of tracks that The Movie has represented. Meanwhile, Ecstasy gets 1 while Ecstasy Second Season gets 2. Surprisingly, the very first Code Speed Anime Trance Best is also sort of represented, with new remixes of three classic tracks. I guess that explains why the special figure is of Aria, one of the cover models for the first SATB. As far as I can tell, there’s only one new track. There don’t appear to be any new remixes, but we won’t know for sure until the album is out.
As with the first Complete Best, the sequel comes in two flavors. The limited edition is limited to only 12,000 copies and comes with a figure of Aria as well as sexier cover art. The regular cover has the girls in their original outfits. It’s a little strange that they have the cover model from Ecstasy so prominent, since there’s only one track from that CD.

Exit Trance presents UmaUma Dekiru Trance wo Tsukutte Mita 7 – Shiharai wa Makasero BariBari
Release Date: 2/3/10
Price: 1905 yen (Regular Edition) or 3143 yen (Limited Edition)
The seventh release in the UmaUma Trance series comes out next February in both a regular, CD only edition and a limited edition featuring a Duel Maid figure of Rinne, the cover girl on SATB 6 (huh?!). The limited edition is limited to only 3,000 copies.
Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no word on what songs may be included.
Pre-order the limited edition or the regular edition at CDJapan.
Exit Trance presents Eki Tra
Release Date: 12/2/09
Price: 1905 yen
The title translates to “Station Trance” and will primarily feature trance covers of “Hassha Melodies,” which are the jingles played at train stations when trains arrive/depart. MK and Dizzi Mystica take up most of the album, with B.U.S., Acid=Stone Valley and Hommarju being conspicuously absent.
Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance BL
Release Date: 12/2/09

The cover art is a little boring considering the subject matter, but maybe that’s a good thing?
