At first I though it looked suspiciously like an AKBK track list, but then I remembered that a lot of the tracks have also appeared on FARM’s own Anime*Dance series, which hasn’t seen a release since early 2010. Maybe they figure people will think these are new tracks.

Update (11/12/12): It’s officially part of the V.I.P. series. There’ll also be a digital version available for 900 yen, but it’s unclear if the digital version will be mixed.
Final list is out, and the 14 recent Saifam productions are indeed included, plus the special winter version of Che’nelle’s “Baby I Love U,” for a total of 15 tracks. The price has also been lowered just a tad to 1714 yen. No indication of whether it’ll be included as part of the Dancemania series.

Update (11/8/12): Track list has been rearranged somewhat, and producers have been revealed. It’s mostly the same producers from the first Anim80’s, with a majority of the tracks done by dance Beyond and Youhei Fujita. Rayto is also responsible for a few tracks, but it looks like DJ Command is sitting this one out.

Whoa, the electronic dance music scene in Japan must be huge if EMI are releasing a sequel to EDM just 3 months after the first release. It reminds me of when Dancemania was on a similar schedule 🙁 Anyway, the second release will feature more tracks from EMI artists like David Guetta, deadmau5, and Coldplay, but is also set to include more licensed tracks, including a song from Britney Spears.
