Exit Trance releases are certainly slowing down to a crawl, and it’s particularly telling that they’re not even bothering with a limited edition for SATB 11. The CD will come with another one of those fake credit cards, however.

Update! Just noticed that the Exit Tunes newsletter had an updated track list, so I’ve added it here. To be honest, I’m a bit disappointed that they’re just repeating his tracks from previous Exit Trance releases. I was expecting mostly new tracks, or at least the songs from his Comiket-exclusive singles.
The album has been delayed from its original October 6 release date to November 3. In the meantime, Ryu*’s official website has been updated with a new podcast giving details on his forthcoming album: http://djryu.jp/
Quake have also released album artwork, plus pictures of the bonus items that will come with the CD: a cell phone strap and a fake credit card.
In addition, Konami will be offering special goods sets on their Konami Style website with Ryu*-branded merchandise. For 4,725 yen you can get the Goods Set A, which comes with the CD, strap, fake credit card, T-shirt, and sticker. The Goods Set B will set you back 7,245 yen and comes with everything that Goods Set A has plus a pin, wristband, tote bag, and rubber key cover.

The Dizzi Mystica alias makes its glorious return! And with a cover of Lady Gaga’s “Alejandro,” no less! Dizzi Mystica also takes on the theme of Tales of Vesperia, “Kane o Narashite.”
MK once again gets the most tracks, with a total of 5 if you include his Freedom alias. Hommarju comes close with 4, while Starving Trancer gets one lone track. Ryu* is no doubt busy with his album, but the absence of Acid=Stone Valley, B.U.S. and Icon is disappointing. Seriously, what happened to B.U.S?
We’ve got a couple of new artists/aliases joining the fray, including Overjoyed and Booing Day (guh?!). A lot of long-unseen aliases are also back. Black Man hasn’t been seen with a new song since the first Gakkou Trance. And Koneko Project has been absent since SATB 4. S-Mushroom and Digital Stone haven’t been too productive, either, so it’s a surprise to see them back.

Do my eyes deceive me? No repeats?! The list of artists is also nicely varied, with no one person getting more than 4 tracks. Two of the more obscure producers, mitchy and S-Mushroom, also make appearances. Although, I wonder if they’re just pseudonyms?
Quake will once again have an Exit Tunes booth at the 78th Comic Market this August, where they’ll be selling exclusive merchandise.

Cheaper than last winter’s set by 500 yen. Totally worth it for that awesome alt Famitrance art. When I first saw it I thought Famitrance 2 had been announced. Oh, Quake, you’re such a tease.

Ryu*’s first album with a major label. Quake allowed Konami to use some of their songs on Starmine, and it looks like Konami will return the favor as there have already been Bemani songs announced. There’ll be 20 tracks in all, with 10 of them being brand new.

Speed Anime Trance Best reaches an epic milestone with the 10th release in the series. I spot a few repeats, unfortunately, including “SW” from TranceMaster 03 for no discernable reason. Am I wrong in thinking that “SW” was an original song? Or did some anime series pick it up as a theme?
Anywho, MK features most prominently once again, with a total of 7 tracks. Hommarju comes in a distant second with 4 (one of which is a repeat). Disco da Gama has 3 tracks, while Ryu* gets 2 (although only one is actually new). Acid=Stone Valley and Cubby-S get only one track each. Starving Trancer is represented with one track, but again, it’s a repeat. B.U.S. and Icon get no love whatsoever.
Limited edition comes with a figure of Yuzuha. I don’t recall hearing that name before, so perhaps it’s the girl on the cover? Both the limited and regular editions comes with a fake credit card featuring the cover art. Oddly, the limited and regular editions have the same cover art. I kinda liked the alternate covers in the past. :{

Only three UmaUma Trance albums have come out since the last Complete Best, so this release seems premature to me. In addition to 8 tracks from UmaUma Trance 6, 6 tracks from UmaUma Trance 7, and 8 tracks from UmaUma Trance 8, there are also 7 brand new tracks, mostly done by Hommarju. Oh, and for some reason it has the Speedycake remix of “Caramelldansen.” They could have at least commissioned a new remix.
In breaking news, Quake will be releasing a Ryu* album this coming fall. Hopefully that doesn’t mean he’ll be MIA for SATB 10.
