Another anison cover release from Akiba Koubou, though judging by the title this one will have Vocaloid vocals. AKBK have covered most of these tracks in the past, so they’ll probably just put the Vocaloid vocals over the existing productions. Mixed by DJ Mocchi.

Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best 20

A final list has been revealed for the 20th release in the SATB series. Thankfully, Acid=Stone Valley’s return back in SATB 19 wasn’t just temporary, though he still only has one track. Airportexpress has been allocated the most, with five total tracks. Other artists include Hommarju (3 tracks), plazma (3), kinoto (2), Flash back Dominant (2), MK (2), Dizzi Mystica (1), and Icon (1). It also appears that there’ll be some new vocalists/aliases present, like Yuuji and Goneko.
Bonus items include a cell phone strap shaped like an ornament, a poster, and a yet-to-be-revealed special item.
Dancemania 25 Tracks

It seems that Universals has been updating some old iTunes releases, giving them cleaner artwork and, in some cases, lower prices. The most notable is Dancemania 25 Tracks, which is down to 750 yen from 1200 yen.

New Live album featuring ?? (Underbar). There’ll be two editions released, a regular edition as well as a limited edition that includes a DVD. Oddly, they’ve canceled the original release, which was scheduled for October 16, and have opted to delay the album to November 20. Not only that, but they’ve changed the catalog numbers from QWCE-306 and QWCE-307 to QWCE-316 and QWCE-317, respectively. The prices have also gone up, with the CD version now costing 2381 yen instead of 1905, and the CD+DVD version selling for 2856 yen instead of 2381. Apparently the changes are because they’ve decided to expand the album to 2 discs instead of just 1.
Bonus items include a cell phone strap, clear file, and poster. Retailers-exclusive presents are also available, the best of which is arguably Animate’s bonus CD. More details can be found on the official site.
ZIP Hot 100 No. 1 Mega Hits – ZIP-FM 20th Anniversary Special

The digital counterpart to ZIP Hot 100 1993-2013 All Time No. 1 Hits features 14 full versions from the CD … which already had full versions. So, yeah, this is kind of pointless if you already have the CD.
Dur-Moll Heaven

N.O.-SYO’s been teasing it for a while now, but his latest album will finally be released next week. He seems to be billing it as a fusion of hard rock and classical, which makes me wonder if he’ll leave out the club/trance sound of his previous works. It should also be noted that a number of the tracks on the album have already been covered by him.
On a related note, Doc-S pointed out in the comments that Sound Drive -Dance Rock Mix- will finally be made available digitally after 3 years. Hopefully the rest of N.O.-SYO’s catalogue will make its way online sooner rather than later.

Another EDM compilation, this time from Victor Japan. I did a double-take when I first saw the title, thinking it was somehow related to E-Rotic, but no such luck. I’m not really sure why it’s an “erotic” dance mix, but it may have something to do with the fact that it’s being mixed by a female DJ, DJ Rie.
Million Dance 2

Wow, this is quite a surprise. The sequel to Warner’s Million Dance will come out on Christmas day, less than two months after the first CD. The series is interesting because it features dance music from around the world. In fact, they’re currently recruiting Japanese producers on Facebook. The first release included a track from Prog5, which is one of the aliases of Shohei Matsumoto (aka Heavens Wire), so I can’t wait to see who might show up on the sequel.
I’m just disappointed they didn’t go with Billion Dance. 🙁
Vocarock collection 5 feat. Hatsune Miku

This is kind of a surprise. Piano House was a pretty big genre back in 2009, but by 2010 the fad fizzled out. The last Piano Master album came out in June of 2010, so it’s odd that they’re releasing a best-of album 3 years later. As the title suggests, most of the tracks will be arrangements of Ghibli themes, though there are some classical arrangements and even a trance arrangement as well.

Unfortunately, many of the tracks have very short edits. Not sure who did the mixing, but whoever it was deserves kudos for placing “Don’t Wake Me Up” right after “Wake Me Up!”
