This is the fifth announced CD in the Anime House series (though it’ll actually be the third one released). This particular release will be produced by Somatrope. “Oshare” means “stylish” or “fashionable.” I haven’t a clue what that has to do with the anime themes announced so far. Interestingly, there are quite a few tracks with English lyrics, including “Genesis of Aquarion.”

The first release isn’t even out yet, but Media Factory already have a sequel in the works. Once again, IOSYS will be producing this release. I’ll be very interested in hearing how “Tsuki no Mayu” turns out. For K-On! fans, yes, they’ll be doing “Cagayake! Girls.”

It’s not exactly Speed Anime House Best, but it’s pretty close. Anime House Project is a new series by Media Factory, who are already well known for publishing anime. IOSYS will be producing this release, and it looks like most of the artists are doujin groups. And yes, it has “Sousei no Aquarion” and “Zankoku na Tenshi no These.” It also has “Don’t say lazy,” which is bound to be this year’s most overused track.
There’s a promotional video up on Nico:
“Don’t say ‘lazy'” sounds pretty good, but the other arranges sound like stuff from Techno Pop Anime. Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you.

My Jewel

Anime Nitro*Itaoto Mix!

kors k + K-On = KO! PREget Music have put up a website for Anime Nitro with samples for all of the tracks as well as a special 12-minute crossfade medley: Anime Nitro Official Site. The kors k remix of “Don’t say ‘lazy'” sounds amazing, as does the PDC remix of “Lion.” I’m surprised that some of the later songs are more jazz than trance, though.
The album is already out of stock at Amazon, who claim that it’ll take 1-2 months to get a copy. Dunno what the situation is at CDJapan or HMV. As for digital versions, King Beat have put up tracks from PREget in the past. The only problem is that King Beat haven’t updated in a month, leading me to believe they’re either on a really long vacation or worse, out of business. 🙁
Edit: I’ve been informed that the official romanization for the title is “Itaoto Mix!” and not “Itaon Mix!” which is what CDJapan was listing it as.

Redalice, kors k, and DJ Sharpnel are among the artists involved, so this should be of interest to J-Core fans.

This caught my eye recently. Released by an independent label, it’ll feature primarily trancecore remixes of anime themes. Unsurprisingly, that means “Sousei no Aquarion.” What’s interesting are the scheduled artists, which include Redalice and DJ Sharpnel.

What. The. Fridge? How’d DM Ashura end up on a random Japanese hyper techno compilation? King of Techno is part of the new King of Dance series by the independent label, JC Records. JC have been closely affiliated with Akiba Koubou, which explains what Mi->Na is doing here. Still doesn’t explain DM Ashura, though.

Disko Warp Meets Sakuma Hitomi & J-Girls

Quick update regarding this album. The release date has slipped from 5/27 to 6/3, apparently due to the Golden Week holiday in Japan. Also, the Disko Warp remix of “Over You” is presumably appearing on Pony Canyon’s upcoming “Happy Core*Speed” compilation.
